My research is focused on a wide range of basic and applied chemical science, especially in supramolecular chemistry of organometallic and inorganic complexes in solution and solid-state on the field of:
– Design and synthesis molecular magnetic materials, i.e., SMM (Single Molecular Magnets), SIM (Single Ion Magnets);
– Activation of small molecules, i.e., O2, N2, H2, CO2, NO, S8, SO2, P4, on main and transition metal complexes;
– Design and synthesis supramolecular and microporous material, i.e., Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), covalent-organic frameworks (COFs), noncovalent microporous materials (NPMs) and covalent-organometallic frameworks (COMFs);
– Inorganic nanoparticles, i.e., PbS, CoxOy, FexOy, Pd, ZnO, CdO.
– Mechanochemistry of inorganic systems;
– Photochemistry and photocatalysis;
